Boudreaux & Mandy’s Wedding

Like I mentioned in the last post, Boudreaux & Mandy emailed us a day before they decided to go to the Justice of the Peace to get married.  We were pretty excited to work a half day then take off for the afternoon and go celebrate with them!

We drove down to Galveston, and it was an absolutely gorgeous day out!  I had to capture some of the surrounding flowers & New-Orleans style old buildings.

The bride & groom arrived, calm as could be.  Mandy can win the award for most easy-going bride ever!

Soon, we all went inside and started the ceremony.  The JP was hilarious and very down-to-earth.

Before we knew it the vows were exchanged and it was time to kiss the bride!

Yeah!  After the cheering & applause we all decided it was time for drinks & lunch to celebrate, so we headed to a local beach bar & grill.  For some reason I have a lot of kiss-y pictures of the newlyweds Winking smile

Galveston is no California coastline, but the sky was blue and the water was warm, so after lunch David and I had decided we’d buy some cheap bathing suits & towels and head to the surf.  We were so excited when the bride & groom decided they’d join us.

This is another reason we love Boudreaux & Mandy – they really enjoy life!  An impromptu beach trip was a fun and memorable way to spend the rest of the day.  We didn’t do much but play around in the waves, but it made me feel like a kid again.  Congrats Boudreaux & Mandy and thanks for being such a great part of our life!
